Before my cholen (SP?) cancer I had a squamous skin cancer on the lower leg. Had to go have it dealt with once a week and put so oddball goo on it. Thus with me it was the opposite. My regular doc saw it originally and said that scab looked cancerous. I said no it's not. He took a biopsy and darned if he wasn't right. Of course all this doesn't answer your question. Sorry
