Has anyone had to have high dose methotrexate (in-patient) after R-Chop and Intrathecal chemo? I keep reading about the side effects of methotrexate and my doctor assures me it is only a 3 day hospital stay.

OMG - I hope my first treatment of methotrexate as an inpatient will be my last. i still have 2 more intrathecal chemos and 1 more R-Chop. This is a very long process. I will keep your husband in my prayers.

My husband is having his 2nd treatment of methotrexate. His first treatment was an 8 day stay at hospital. It all depends how your body responds to getting u ready for the treatment and then how long it takes to flush out at the end. I will keep u in my.prayers.
