Methotrexate

Can someone please tell me what the hospital stay is like for high dose methotrexate. I finished 6 cycles of R-CHOP and 4 lumbar punctures with intrathecal chemo. My doctor says it is only a 3 day hospital stay, but that is not what I am reading. I need to hear from someone who has gone through it. Thank you.

So I am going to answer my own question. I just finished the high dose methotrexate in-patient last week. The hospital stay was only 3 days and it was quite uneventful. No side effects from the methotrexate while I was in the hospital. BUT - I now have itching all over my body (doctor said take benadryl), terrible mouth sores and constant nausea. Hoping all these side effects will be gone soon.
