He has a large mass in his sternum and in one rib. Took about 6 months to get his actual diagnosis- he started on RCHOP one cycle- postponed number 2 because of neutrophil count. Today back on track. My question is has anyone had a sternal mass like this and how are you doing? Can it go into remission? His oncologist says it will. Anyone have surgery for this? Thank you!
I have/had DLBCL stage IV which was in my bone marrow. I had treatments of RCHOP chemo and have been in remission for 21 months now. Kelly
I had the same Cancer in Dec of 2019 I had 8 treatments of RCHOP chemo, no surgery, still in remission after 3 years
SueDeNisco,
Hi! I too have/had DLBCL stage IV. I didn't have a chest mass but it was in my bone marrow. I had 6 treatments of RCHOP chemo. I've been in remission now for 21 months. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask me. I hope your husband does well with his treatments. I hope you both have a peaceful and blessed day. Kelly
