Total Knee Replacement For Stage 3b NHL?

Good Afternoon Everyone! I see my oncologist in April, and I will ask him about what I’m seriously pondering. I am in great need of a total knee replacement on my left knee. I had the other one done in 2014, before I was diagnosed with cancer. I was diagnosed in 2017 with b-cell, Marginal Zone, splenic, NHL. I treated for 5 years and have been off treatment for 1 yr and 5 mos. Has anyone ever had major surgery like this after being diagnosed with cancer? I desperately need to have it… read more

Yes just had a hip replacement. Everything was fine.

I’m planning a 3 hour foot surgery under general anesthesia. I’m 9 months out from chemo for follicular NHL. I’ll be discussing it with my oncologist next week to see if there are any concerns.
