This article has been wonderful! I would also like help with a plan and further inspiration to gain muscle and weight. I’m 151 lbs but was 210 lbs before cancer. I am currently taking Ibrutinib treatment. I have SMZL, Anemia, CKD, HBP but I’m in quite good condition considering. I have a good appetite and able to exercise 2 or more times a week although I’m 87. I guess I could follow any exercise program but to hear from the team would be great!

Yes so true! It's hard for me to motivate myself to do anything these days.... best of luck! Maybe we can check in on each other for motivation! Lol hope you have a wonderful day

Thanks. Yoga sounds great. I’m sure you know how I feel. My plan is to try to push myself more. It’s so easy to do nothing.

Yoga really helps with strengthening and muscle gain....light weights would help too. I read an article a few days ago that talked about rebounding. Says that it is great for cardio and strengthening of muscles (I had quite a bit of muscle loss in my legs and have a hard time walking for short or long distances without feeling worn out or tired) I was close to 220 before all this started and am at 160 now....

Thanks for the reply! But I’d like to gain weight and muscle and maybe strength if possible.

Hi Walter! Any exercise would be good for the body... but take it slow in the beginning...I find walking around the block or even the recumbent bike at the gym for 5-10 minutes is good. If you can, adding in yoga is great too!
