Has Anyone Ever Been Diagnosed With Two Different Types Of Lymphoma?
June 2019 i was diagnosed with primary cns lymphoma.
This year in march i had an ovary removed. They found diffuse large b cell lymphoma. My oncologist wants to put me on the r-CHOP regimen with stem cell transplant to follow as maintainance therapy.
I Want To Know The Survival Rate Of Someone With Non Hodgkin Limphoma?
I have had no hodgkins lymphoma for over 9 months and receive chemotherapy every three weeks weeks.

How Quickly Do You See The Oncologist Once You Get Your Biopsy Results?
I don’t know yet. But after my recent investigation it was very fast that they wanted to see me again. With my other cancer (brain tumour) I get to see my oncologist on the same day after the MRI. I… read more
My Hubby (DLBCL) Is In The Middle Of RCHOP But Now Needs His Gallbladder Out. How Bad Is It To Pause Chemo After Two Rounds?
I Stopped chemo because I could not handle it after two rounds. Ask the Doctor, I’m sure hubby will be gone though. There’s all kinds of things they can do today.
My Spouse Was Diagnosed With Stage IV Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma In July 2019.
He refused chemotherapy and refuses to talk about his situation. He does nothing but sit and watch tv. Are there any suggestions about how to be supportive of his choices?

Stage 3 Follicular Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma..and Wondering Why No Treatment Has Been Recommended...
I am reading here that a lot of people have been receiving treatment with a lesser stage (I & 2) than I have. (I have Stage 3 *follicular* non-hodgkins lymphoma). I have been on watch and wait since my diagnosis in April 2019. I'm wondering why the oncologist is holding off on any treatment. Why wait until it gets bad? Has anyone gotten treatment while being asymptomatic? If you do have symptoms, at what point did your Dr decide to start treatment?
As long as you have your blood tests every 6 months, and it looks good. There is no need for you to worry.
At The Time Of Diagnosis Or While Getting Chemo Were You Ever Told Of The Potential Side Effects Of Your Cancer Or Medication?
My oncology office made me go through chemo training before starting chemo. I was advised of all of the possible reactions.
How Do You Handle Loosing Faith In Your Treating Oncologist/assistant?
My check up yesterday, I knew would be with assistant, I met 1 time prior and tried not to make judgment. Yesterday I asked pointed questions! I couldn't get an answer!!!! Agh! I asked "what is the name of my leukemia?" She's scanning my chart online... ummm I don't know, it doesn't say. Wow I say. The initial blood work said CD5 small B cell leukemia. She then says "yeah, yeah it says that". Then I asked "Is that the name then?" She said "Um I don't know" I said OK then what's the name of… read more
I cannot stress enough the importance of 1) getting a second opinion and 2) finding an oncologist who only does your cancer. I had a second opinion and went to a non-profit cancer center to be with a… read more
