Chills/goosebumps At Radiation Treatment Areas
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Did anyone experience chills/goosebumps on the areas where they had radiation? I finished radiation a month ago but last week I started getting chills only in those spots. My skin also hurts, in the sense that it’s very tender and very sensitive to temperatures. I don’t have any rash or actual bumps but the sensitivity doesn’t go away and I keep getting chills only in those areas.

No I never experienced this. It Kinda sounds like a radiation burn on the inner site area, that might be healing.
You should share these symptoms w the radiology oncologist nurse.

Thanks @A MyLymphomaTeam Member! I know it’s weird, especially this late after treatment. I called my doc today though, we’ll see what they say. Their first thought was shingles…
