Members strongly encouraged following the oncologist's guidance on when to begin treatment rather than relying solely on symptoms, with many sharing that follicular lymphoma can progress significantly without noticeable signs. Several members described their own watch-and-wait experiences ranging from months to four years, with some emphasizing that treatments like RCHOP are harsh and can only be given once, making timing critical. A recurring theme was the importance of regular monitoring, trusting your medical team while also listening to your body, getting second opinions when needed, and maintaining hope through stories of long remissions achieved with minimal treatment.

You need to do what right for you. You know your body don't let anyone else tell you about yourself. Wait and watch feels wrong because when you hear cancer you instinctively want it out of your body. I finished my chemotherapy August 2018 I was officially in remission however I know my body I kept calling and messaging my doctor's that something was wrong. I start my first infusion next week, I officially had a relapse. Listen to your body....

I found mine myself also. Just happened to wake up & stretched. Something felt tight under my arm.had a tennis ball size tumor under my arm. Normally it was tucked up in the pit & I hadn't noticed it.
