My Dr who is the head of Hemotology at Georgetown University Hospital did not recommend Rituxan after as he said there was no evidence that it helped. So I didn’t take anything and so far so good. 1 & 1/2 years and counting.

No objection to having it. Very few side effects.

I started out with single cell follicular non hodgkins lymphoma in 2003. First treatment was CHOP, with Rituxon as a maintenance treatment. I have gone 5 years in between chemo treatments twice now. So I believe you are on the right track. No side effects. My best to you.

Yes. Definitely meant for maintenance. I had Rituxin as part of my 6 month treatment.

I’m amazed they said no evidence Rituxan worked. See M.G. Anderson research. Rituxan has greatly extended life expectancy for follicular lymphoma patients. Maybe the doctor meant using it as maintenance. Nevertheless, it is standard treatment, and I’m making no object
