Is Anyone Taking Methotrexate As A Low Dose Chemo.
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've been experience neck stiffness and pain that has gotten progressively worse radiating from the back of my skull close to the base to my shoulders. Sometimes when I swallow it hurts deep inside my neck muscles. I'm also getting sores in my mouth.. I'm wondering if this could be a side effect.. I've been on methotrexate since Dec 2018.

Please get yourself to a doctor soon. I'll be praying. Nice to have seen you yesterday. I just finished the book I have been reading and will start on one of those in the bag later.

My dermatologist injects methotrexate in my legs when I develop squarmous cell carcinomas there. It makes them shrink and ultimately go away. I also am in remission from NHL.

MaryLou, I know it has a lot of uses from psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis and different cancers.. It decreases immune system activity and slows the growth of skin and cancer cells. Have you had any side effects at all?
