Can anyone please explain what the chemotherapy class is about so I know what to expect I kinda get the gist of what I’ll be going through but still scared, I know some about the port from other people having it. But I know not the same.. Be honest please
CindyDaniels, I am available most days to help where I can. I am not always on here but if someone e-mails me I do get notification from the website and will respond to you as quick as I can. I will certainly be with you throughout your entire journey and for anyone who needs my support. That is why I joined was to be hopefully support for those who need me.👍
thanks Joseph good to know got port in yesterday slept on couch instead of my comfortable bed upstairs, since I have more fluid building up again it's hard to breath without at least 5 pillows so I ended up waking up every 2 hrs & of course had to go to bathroom :( husband had errands to run & pick up pain meds for port, then I'm going to bed & sleep
chemo class was ok more of what I can & can't do, luckily my daughter didn't have class so she was able to listen in & ask questions I didn't think of. My daughter is in NC..
CindyDaniels,
Hi! I never had a chemo class. I had 6 treatments of RCHOP started a year ago when I was diagnosed with DLBCL. My first one was in the hospital as I was admitted. If I can help answer any questions in regards to my experience with RCHOP, (I have/had DLBCL) please don't hesitate to ask me. I was scared too but I know you will get through it. Kelly
what the heck is DLBCL & RCHOP. I am actually planning on recording the class since some days I have crs -can't remember stuff lol.. and also in case my daughter is in class with nursing school in NC. Glad your still with us to join in on this journey Joseph.
