A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

My left ankle start to swollen with three red bumps going up above my left ankle three weeks ago , my oncologist office told me to see my primary, she assume it’s cellulite and gave me 7 days antibiotics. I’m done with antibiotics now but my right ankle starts to also swollen and bruising and I gave discolor bumps on right calf. I had Rituxan infusion once a week for 4 weeks in January, then CT scan then once a week for 4 weeks more in March then scan. After that since wasn’t working did once a month for three months along with Bendamustine which I did for two days. That did it for me and so far all is well. No side effects.

Same treatment Marilyn, same results.

Hi Marilyn
I had 12 cycles Bendamustine and Rituximab over 6 months.
After 3 was in remission but chose to take the last 3 months. Some days I wondered where my mind was but made it. 16 months later still in remission. I had several rare side effects.
1 being my hands were swollen. No rhyme or reason other than chemo and it would take them many jabs to get IV started. I had no port.
Also had skin rash and in mouth.
Had blood clot in left hand and veins in arms.

What I am saying is our bodies react differently

One thing I was fortunate enough to have an oncologist that totally took care of me

Many prayers for us all, lifting you up 🙏
