In addition to NH low B-cell lymphoma, i have Sjogrens Syndrome.
I went to oncology and he gave me copy of biopsy. Does anybody know what it means when it says mature low grade B-cell lymphoma with CD5 co-expression , most consistent with small lymphocytic lymphoma/chronic lymphocytic leukemia
Wanda, I was originally diagnosed with what was called an indolent NHL. or lymphoplasmacitic lymphoma. One valuable resource I used to educate myself was the International Waldenstrom's… read more
I have read some history posts here and on the internet about how having CA (including Lymphoma) increases the likelihood of getting other CAs. This is with or without getting chemo- or immuno- therapy txs. I know that after my dx, my mammogram came back abnormal with areas that needed to be biopsied and watched. There are more of those areas every 6-month check. My skin CA occurrences which started about 6 years prior to dx have ramped up this last year - with 4 new spots that needed to… read more

She then says "yeah, yeah it says that". Then I asked "Is that the name then?" She said "Um I don't know" I said OK then what's the name of… read more

Chemo is directly related to new cancers in our bodies. My doctor also told me indolent lymphomas often lead to other cancers.
