Does Anyone Know If Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma Causes A Rash And Severe Itching?
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

This rash started on my upper arms and now it's all over my arms, lower legs and spreading to my abdomen, hips and face. My primary provider prescribed Triamcinilone Acetonide Cream eight days ago, but it isn't helping. Just wonder if anyone else has this problem.

My husband had Peripheral T Cell Lymphoma that revealed itself as a rash.

Lymphoma can reveal itself in the form of a rash. A Dermatologist may help with diagnosis of the actual rash. Steroids can help with severe itching, but they probably won't keep you on them long term.

Be your own advocate if you don't get answers from your doctor. Take someone with you to appointments to help with questions and support.

Best wishes.

My story is sort of weird, or it seems that way to me. In a nutshell, I had been felingy bad for about a year. I had an emergency appendectomy on December 12 last year. They found the lymphoma when they did the abdominal CT. I was scheduled for a needle biopsy in February and they ended up postponing it. I finally got all the results back. Diagnosis is Stage 3-4 small lymphocytic lymphoma. I don't see the oncologist until April 13, so I haven't received any treatment.

I had small red dots around my wrists and ankles when I was diagnosed with CLL NHL 4th stage. then I had severe blister like bubbles on my legs that burn and bust and severe itching. this first began on my legs moving from one legs to the other and then moving from one arm to the other. I now have scars on both legs and arms. I was prescribed an antibiotic cream and also a cream containing steroids didn't do a lot of good but then I had to have ivig's every 28 days which helped tremendously. I have been off the ivig's for about a year and now then the blisters, sores pain and itching is back. Having another pet scan August 3rd.
