Trinity, FL

I have both diagnosed in 2014 and was told the lymphoma may be responsible for the amyloidosis.

I was diagnosed with SLL and Amyloidosis in 2014. I received the CyBorD chemo for quite a few months. I still get Kappa Lt Chain numbers in the 200s, but no treatment and fortunately it seems no organ involvement from the Amy. I do have some neuropathy in the feet. I wish you well.

I was diagnosed with amyloidosis in 2010. Further investigation determined that I also had Waldenstrom's lymphoma and I had already had undiagnosed Waldenstrom's for a number of years prior. I was treated for the lymphoma and went into remission for both diseases. I was in remission for about 8 years but gradually went out of remission this year. I've had 5 treatments of rituxan and have gone back into remission. As a result of the amyloidosis I have severe peripheral neuropathy and pain in my feet.
