Music, images, words or even smells - have always helped me connect to my feelings. It can be so powerful.
A picture/image that makes you smile, laugh or cry. One maybe that draws you in though you don't necessarily know why.
A favorite quote.
A song where the music or lyrics speak directly to you?
You can explain the feeling/connection or not, as you wish. The thing is that you share something meaningful to you.
Ladies,
I had to rush out to YouTube and see if I could find your songs. Tell me if I found the right ones. If you have a better version, please post it.

I am so glad that it provides you with an emotional release and that the statue of the Blessed Mother has provided support and comfort to you during your treatment.
Thanks so much for sharing.
Isn't it gracious how God takes care of us in ways that cater to our individual needs and that fit us emotionally? π
Whenever I hear Schubert's "Ave Maria" I start sobbing. It's just so emotional for me. Just the first few distinctive notes and I'm toast!
I just set up a statue of the Blessed Mother in my yard. She was very supportive during my radiation.
