I was diagnosed with benign lymphoma in 2020. Have it on my left cheek, can fell it when i run my fingers on it. It hasn't changed in size since the diagnosis. The doctors had not prescribed any medication back in 2020. They told me that it'll heal as time passes but it hasn't. I don't feel any pain in my cheeks. Reading thru the Q&A , I am surprised that no one responded to your question. To be honest I have never seen a dx of Benign Lymphoma. Wonder if they used the benign inter-changably with indolent? Yet, when I did an internet search - there it was:
"Benign lymphoma, also referred to as a pseudolymphoma or as a benign lymphoid hyperplasia (BLH), is a rare non-cancerous (benign) tumor made up of lymphocytes. Lymphocyes or white blood cells are part of the body’s immune system and help defend our body against infection.?"
I honestly have no idea how to answer your question. I wonder a bit about your weight changes, as unexplained significant weight loss seems to be one of those general symptoms for many types of CA. I hope that you discussed the weight issue with your Dr(s), plus any other symptoms that you may have noticed but considered to common/minor to mention. Good Luck.
