COVID BOOSTER SHOT
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone with NHL had a terrible time with side effects of the booster? I got mine on Sunday and have had a terrible reaction! So weak sick, tired the works!????

Everyone responds differntly to the vaccine; some people have no side effects at all and others experience back pain, muscle aches and fatigue. Its prudent to understand however that this is usually self limited and if side effects occur longer than 2-4 days something else may be responsible - you should bring it to the attention of your physician; https://news.cancerconnect.com/treatment-care/b... No more Covid vaccines for me. I was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma only 4 months after having the first series of 2. Could be a coincidence but another one of my coworkers was dx with breast cancer directly after having her Covid vaccines. I’ve had Covid twice and each was mild symptoms.

My doctor told me not to get the fourth vaccination.

I personally did not get the original shots or boosters. I heard of too many reactions. I also have not had covid.
I suggest contacting your primary care provider and/or your oncologist or both
Many prayers for you and us all.

Mscanlo3,
Hi! I had 4 vaccine shots. I didn't get any antibodies and was sicker than sick. 103 temp, nausea, chills, etc etc. It was awful!! Felt bad for a week!! Ended up getting Evusheld shots. No side effects and I got antibodies. Good luck and i hope you feel better soon. Kelly
