Charlene, I had DLBCL. Took RCHOP/Methotrexate. Bad the nasty disease persisted. I took CAR-T and got cured. 3 years now!

Charlene , I hit remission for a year in June, I am heading to 80 in Sept, I feel great , as good as I did in my 60’ s no fatigue at all. he said when I asked what stage 5, maybe that is because I had radiation on my neck, 7 c, surgeon and radiologist both agreed radiation not surgery, had 5 and success . I just live life to the fullest each day . Good luck , I actually changed oncologists and so if in doubt do that . I am at my daughters watching er cat while they vacation, and here in WA as my husband of 60 years is in memory care so I fly in so someone is here in case he falls etc, he is 87. I made this quilt while here, I baked, cooked tried new recipes and cleaned her patio and porch as they had new siding on and they finally finished and today I cleaned her fridge and threw out outdated things she loves that as she works from home in high stress job and has a 8 yr old and 14 yr old stepson. 😊👍like I said live each day and love it

Had rchop 4 stage 4 diffuse b NHL. I did pretty good thru therapy. I was their 1st person that got to take the chemo home with me at night. I think it helped that I was able to spend time at home instead of in the hospital. I had my dog at home and a helping husband. Finished therapy in early oct. Hoping it stays gone..

Charlene, I was diagnosed with stage 4 DLBC NHL and started chemo (the usual 6 cycles of RCHOP) in April 2020. Then had radiation, then methotrexate into the spine (prophylactic). Was then in remission for 11 months. Didn’t tolerate the next chemo, and had CAR-T in March 2022. Have been in remission since. I hope you achieve remission after your chemo - many do, and remain so for the rest of your life. Just know that if you relapse, there are more treatments available.
