My SIL was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cHL. He is only 34 and he and my daughter have a 2 year old and a 3month old
I guess my question is about his blood. He has had 1 and 1/2 chemo treatments and he is going in for blood tests M, W, F to check his red and white cell counts and get transfusions if needed. So far he needs 2 pints of blood every other day.
I’m just so worried and overwhelmed- is this normal?
His cancer is in lymph nodes in chest, spleen and liver are 3 times regular size and pet scan showed a few spots on his bones.
My NHL was stage three of four when discovered. I had no signs of it except an enlarged lymph node on my neck. It responded very well to the chemo but chemo is very hard on your body. I finished My six rounds of chemo in November, and my blood counts are normal now, but I have several weird things going on in my body. I hope his blood counts get better. He needs to talk to his doctor about this.
My spouse just diagnosed with Stage 4 Type B NHL in 3'26. He is 76 years old and wondering what to expect. Originally diag as back pain..
Anyone on here have Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma?
