I had DLBCL and have been in remission for more than 2 yrs. I had RCHOP chemo. I still have joint and muscle pain especially in the mornings. Does anyone else still have this? Thank you, Kelly
Theresa6,
I was on steroids for a yr for an autoimmune disorder I got after chemo called PMR. I've since titrated off. But I did feel better on them but in the yr of steroids I gained 50lbs. Good luck on your orthopedic appointment. I hope you get some relief. Kelly
I have hip pain, neuropathy in my left foot, and my left calf from shingles. Side affect of chemo. I have some back issues as well. Just joined the gym going three times a week, hoping it improves some of the problems.
I’m almost 3 years in remission & had M -Chop in a clinical trial followed by 6 months of R-Chop. I definitely relate to the morning stiffness & have had some issues with cramping in hands & legs. I remind myself it was the ticket to getting me where I’m at but it is frustrating at times. I find staying active helps but I’ve considered Yoga & after reading Vonnies reply may give that a try.
I eat pickle, Banna or pickle juice or drink water
Hi KellyS
I'm thinking the new normal. I'm stiff most mornings too. Yoga really helps. I continue to get muscle or nerve twitches, not sure what it is. I'm assuming from chemo. Some days it's hard to describe, part of me says it's painful sometimes , but then I think it's more annoying than pain at times. I think taking up pickleball has improved my overall physical ability.
Hope yours gets better.
Take care, Vonnie
