Follicular Lymphoma And Covid-19

I completed chemotherapy (Gazyva and Bendeka) for follicular lymphoma last October and have been in remission. Four weeks ago (August 8) I contracted Covid-19. I started taking Paxlovid on August 9, which stopped the Covid immediately, but then symptoms (mostly head cold-like with moderate fever) came back on August 15. I would think it would definitely be helpful to confer with your oncologist on this. Anything that comes up that involves lymph nodes or cancer, it’s best to involve them.

I recently had an abscess on my gum from a broken tooth. I assume chemo made it worse. Instead of contacting my pcp, I just went straight to my oncologist to ask about antibiotics. I had the oncologist send record of it to my pcp.
