I realized I really didn't answer your question about coloring your hair! I would first check with your physician. I did color my hair just before receiving infusions then waited about 8 to 10 weeks before the next color. I did not have chemotherapy drugs.....only immunotherapy (Rituxan), so I was fortunate. However, I did shop and select wigs so that I was prepared.

I would recommend shopping for a wig if you are willing to use (most insurances will cover some or all of this expense and many cancer organizations will also provide free of charge). OR, look for warm hats or head coverings to use, especially if you live in a colder environment. You may be lucky to be receiving treatment that will not result in hair loss, but it is always good to be prepared.

Only had one chemo treatment. Will probably lose it after the next treatment. Just thinking of Christmas.
