My doctor was happy and told me I was "in remission territory". Not sure exactly what that means. Finished treatments a year ago, and no treatment since.

Every case is different, so no one can judge one case against another as to what is a good scan result for the halfway point. My oncologist was looking for improvement in the mass size and less active cancer activity. He wanted to see that the RChop regiment was doing its job. The size of my mass was significantly reduced and he saw no cancer activity. I did three more rounds of RChop and then 20 rounds of radiation.

Dear Bill186, if you have explicit questions I would contact my oncology doc or care team and ask them to please give you a more comprehensive answer, so you can get a better idea of where you are with your cancer. I'm sure they will mention it's not an exact science and you can say, "agree, but what's your best answer for me?! " How much improvement do we see, etc. The doc or someone on the team should help you through this journey with all and any questions you have. Mine sure does, and even brought in another hematology expert for them to visit with and to chat with me. Praying for you! 🙏❤️🙏

My doctor told me the scan was showing improvement but he did not say how much or what percentage
