Hi Charles. My husband was just diagnosed with DLBCL. For the last year he’s struggled with weak legs. He starts chemo in a few days…I’m sure he’ll be happy to learn that his leg strength could very possibly return. Congrats on your remission! That’s wonderful!
I became weak all over, but especially in my legs. I lost a lot of muscle mass and weight generally. I reached the point where I needed a cane to get around. I've been in remission for six months and the strength is returning very slowly.
Anything is possible with this type of cancer, Christopher. That’s why this site is so important; we can tell and ask each other about things like this! I am sure it can cause weakness in your legs; it causes so many issues; I know that my arms, legs , feet and hands go numb a lot - for no reason- it’s not like I am leaning on them or anything to make them go numb- they just do! Like I said- I will continue to pray for you. A word of advice: keep track of all you are feeling- going through- keep a journal- take it with you to doctor; it helps…..Barb🙏🏻
