I had NHL too. Back pain was one of my early symptoms. It felt like tight muscles. It eventually got better after chemo.
There are lots of folks on this site that can relate to the many side effects but sometimes it’s crickets ! Welcome to My Lymphoma Team !!!!!
Thank you
I hear you and deeply sympathize with you. I have been in remission for about 4 years. Prior to that I had a Bone Marrow Transplant, in addition to Chemo and Radiation. The main thing I have is I'm tired a lot, but I find when I work out more I can build up my strength. Take one day at a time and pray to G-d. Hoping each day brings you more strength and happiness.
I have had a bad back for as long as I can remember, before lymphoma I was able to keep my core strong which reduced the pain to almost nothing. After chemo my back pain is almost debilitating and I am on pain meds to off set it. Since chemo I have not been able to build up any muscle to strengthen my core. I also had 3 strokes during the chemo treatment period so I am not able to take ibuprofen. Pain management drs said some of the pain is due to the strokes, not just the bad back. FYI, I 100% recovered very fast from the strokes.
I have been in remission for 5 yrs now and nothing has gotten better.
I know I am done at around 6pm every night. Just the new me.
