My Arm Cramped Up Bad During The Infusion And The Pain Lasted For Days.
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've had my 2nd round of Bendamustine/Rituxan. This last time my arm cramped up pretty bad with the 2nd infusion on the I don't recall which medication but it was the 2nd bag that they infused for about 30 minutes not the one that lasted hours. I suspect it may have cramped up because the fluid was really cold when they received it from the pharmacy. But I'm not sure if this was it. Has anyone else had this issue? The pain lasted for days and was really sore.

I had a port installed and it makes the B & R infusion easy no pain at all . I just finished my 6th cycle

I had a picc Line put in for the same thing. Works much better you don’t feel anything. Well worth the insertion

Be sure to tell the nurses/aides/physician this occurred before receiving next infusion. Ask if more movement during the infusion would prevent this from occurring again. Best of luck to you!

They hit a nerve once during the infusion and that caused something similar.

I started chemo 3/2020. Surgeries were minimal. So, needles went in my arms. Wasn't the best time of my life.
I had blood clots, pain in veins, cramping, etc.
No matter what, I will do it again if necessary.
