Hi Graeme , I can't say that I had shortness of breath with rutuxamb. I have heard that any of these chemo drugs can cause shortness of breath, irregular heart beat and other things. Sound glum but the up side is remission . Please tell your oncology team that this is happening. They should know what to do for you. It is important that you tell them everything you are feeling. Even if you feel like you are being picky, tell, tell, tell anyway. It's great
Your life that you are paying them for, not theirs. Best of luck and God's grace , Christine
Thanks Christine- good advice and appreciated.
I think I expect too much of myself- just 6 days since Targeted Therapy- patience not a virtue of mine!
Are you experiencing shortness of breath after rituximab treatment?
Feeling short of breath can be a concerning side effect. Rituximab can sometimes cause allergic reactions that include trouble breathing, along with other symptoms like fever, chills, itchy rash, or swelling of the lips, throat, or face.
