Hi, I have non Hodgkins lymphoma. And really big emotions surrounding the diagnosis. I am looking for a support group to help me deal with the emotions, anxiety attacks, and nightmares.
Thank you. I have left messages twice for social worker. No response. I will certainly look at the angels. Thank you for being kind
KimberelyMitcham,
Hi! I am part of a support group in my area through the hospital I had my treatments through. Call the infusion center and ask to speak with the social worker. Ask them if they offer one. We meet once a month through zoom. We’ve also all gotten close and even meet for lunch in person every other month. We are supportive of each other. Also, look up Immerman Angels. It’s a program that matches you up with someone that is around your age and similar diagnosis that has already been through it. I have had an Angel and now I am one for others. And, if you need to talk, please feel free to contact me at (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators). I hope you have a relaxing day and this information has helped. Kelly
