Diagnosis 2025. Nov. Haven’t got any treatment. Now it’s looking like, there is a progress. Fear of treatment.
ZsuzsaFrank,
I agree! I think there is an aspect of the shock of the diagnosis too!! I also tried to make the play in front of me only. Not look too far ahead. And I had to also only concentrate on one day at a time. Not let my mind wonder too far ahead in regards to the “what if’s.” Sending you a hug. Kelly
Dear Kelly,
Thank you for your answer. I am glad that you are in remission for 5 yrs. It is good to get in connection with fellow suffers. I am working on my anxiety but it’s so difficult. Besides I think I have to mourn the loss of my health. We all have to.
Wishing you the best, Zsuzsi
ZsuzsaFrank,
Hi and welcome to the site. Everyone here is so nice and helpful. I have/had DLBCL and had treatments of rchop chemo. I’ve been in remission for 5 years. I totally understand your anxiety. I needed to get help from a therapist and some medication too. They both helped. Plus, I’ve found that time helps also. I hope you have a peaceful day. Kelly
Thank you Gary! I go to therapy and started taking antidepressant. They help but some days I feel worse, I worry more.
I hope You are ok. It must be very difficult for you with these illnesses. Wishing best of luck to You!
Zsuzsi
The previous comments were excellent and included a great deal of information. On top of that I would recommend one if you’re Dr. Refer you to someone in Palliative Care. This is nothing like hospice and they deal with all different types of mental, physical or medication concerns. I don’t know anything about medical care in Hungary so I don’t know if they have it there or not. I have multiple sclerosis along with my lymphoma and I’m currently dealing with a palliative care doctor with medication I am currently taken for MS. They deal with mental health conditions across the large spectrum of problems and situations. I would highly recommend this type of MEDICAL help if it’s available and Hungary. Best of luck and God bless in your situation.
