Hi Donna? Unfortunately beginning tired most of the time. Goes with the territory. What you can do is adjust your time of rest . Getting 6 to 8 hours at night and short naps during the day. Make them only 30 minutes at a time. I found if you push yourself too much lothen you are fighting something you can't control. It's not fare but here we are. You could have your electrolytes checked. Keep in touch, Christine.

Fatigue with lymphoma can be really persistent, and unfortunately B12 alone may not be enough to tackle it. There are many factors that can contribute to tiredness beyond just vitamin levels.
Some common contributors to lymphoma-related fatigue include:
- Side effects from chemotherapy, radiation, or other treatments
- Anemia (low red blood cell count)
- Dehydration from treatment side effects
- Pain or pain medication
- Poor sleep habits
- Anxiety or depression
- Poor appetite or low calorie intake
- Muscle weakness from inactivity It's worth talking to your doctor about getting a blood test to check for anemia or other reversible causes of fatigue. Some causes, like low hemoglobin, thyroid issues, or low testosterone, can actually be treated directly.
In the meantime, here are some strategies that may help:
- Stay gently active — even short walks can make a difference over time
- Prioritize sleep — good sleep habits are often overlooked but really matter
- Eat well — keeping up your nutrition and calorie intake supports your energy
- Take short naps — keep them under 30 minutes to avoid disrupting nighttime sleep
- Address mental health — anxiety and depression can worsen fatigue significantly As one MyLymphomaTeam member put it, "I do what I can, when I can. I am not pushing myself." Finding that balance is key, and your doctor can help identify what's driving your fatigue most.

I use MCT oil.Its all natural and is a type of coconut oil one tablespoon in your coffee in the morning and you can add cacao powder to it.You need to check with your doctor if this is okay for you.I have had no problems and it gives you a energy boost in the morning. Cacao powder has more antioxidants than blueberries and isn't that expensive MCT oil is about 15 dollars a bottle and cacao powder is about the same and last about a Please check with your doctor first. This a personal experience and everyone is different.
