That crawling sensation under the skin is really unsettling, and it makes sense to be concerned — especially being 4 months post-radiation. That feeling can actually be an early sign of a skin condition called prurigo nodularis (PN), which can be associated with lymphoma. It often starts as a crawling or stinging sensation before any visible bumps appear.

Radiation therapy can also cause skin-related side effects that sometimes linger for up to two years after treatment ends, so the timing fits. It's really important to bring this up with your doctor soon. In the meantime, here are some things that may help ease the discomfort:

- Use gentle, fragrance-free soaps and moisturizers
- Wear soft, loose-fitting clothing
- Apply a cool compress to affected areas
- Try an oatmeal bath
- Avoid scratching as much as possible — keeping nails trimmed helps
- Ask your doctor about anti-itch creams containing menthol or camphor

If the itching is intense or bumps start appearing, definitely flag that with your care team right away so they can assess whether PN or another skin condition needs to be addressed.
