That crawling sensation under the skin is really unsettling, and it makes sense to be concerned — especially being 4 months post-radiation. That feeling can actually be an early sign of a skin condition called prurigo nodularis (PN), which can develop alongside lymphoma. It often starts as a crawling or stinging sensation before any visible bumps appear.

Radiation therapy can also cause skin-related side effects that sometimes linger for up to two years after treatment ends, so the timing fits. Here are some things that may help manage the itching and crawling sensation in the meantime:

- Use gentle, fragrance-free soaps and moisturizers
- Try an anti-itch cream containing menthol or camphor
- Take an oatmeal bath
- Apply a cool compress to affected areas
- Wear soft, loose-fitting clothing
- Avoid scratching — keeping nails trimmed short can help
- Ask your doctor about antihistamines before bedtime

It's really important to bring this up with your doctor soon, especially the crawling sensation, so they can check whether PN or another skin-related issue needs to be addressed.
