This is my anxiety getting to me ....I live in Indiana an work for the same company 21yrs...I was diagnosed in 2016 an several stays in hospital....my employer has always treated us well ....but my fear is being let go someday because of my health....I'm sure like any company an employer could let a person go not related to a health issue.....
I was diagnosed very young which is not usually the case. I was in remission for 10 years until recently. I have been going through chemotherapy and radiation for the last four years and it keeps coming back. I recently read that the mortality rate is usually 10 years from the date of diagnosis. I’m going on 16 years and now it’s getting more aggressive. I have one more treatment since April. I’m just curious to find out what I should expect so I can make the most of the time I have left?
Just officially diagnosed with Indolent mantle cell lymphoma stage IVA.
I Have been on watch and wait for 8 years. No symptoms or treatment. Anyone know how long this disease could stay this stable? It is in my bone marrow. Low grade 2%. Hoping for the best!!!
I had an Ommaya shunt placed last year in my brain for chemo. Does anyone have a brain shunt for chemo? If so how has it affected your memory, recall, etc?

Enlarged lymph nodes showed up & the orthopedic surgeon sent my spouse to the primary for follow-up. Major rotator cuff/reconstruction surgery with muscle/tendon grafts is scheduled in 3 weeks. Spouse is worried that the pending diagnosis will mean no surgery. Does a lymphoma diagnosis mean that surgeries like this are not done?
I am told this requires 4 days in hospital per cycle. I've been walking to keep up my strength and am concerned about losing strength with 4 days in bed. Is walking possible? Even in the hallways?
Has anyone here sought out an herbalist for their lymphoma? Also has anyone heard of the herb Red Root which is a tincture?
