Shira graduated from Dartmouth College in 2021 with degrees in government and biology. She is passionate about public health and improving health outcomes. As a James O. Freedman Presidential Scholar, Shira spends her time in an epidemiology lab studying the effects of perfluoroalkyl substances on the duration of breastfeeding for women in New Hampshire. She also tutors biology students, raises money for community health clinics, and studies as a Dartmouth Global Health Fellow.
