Believe it or not I always did chemo outpatient. My stem cell I was in the hospital a little over 2 weeks.

The one round of RICE didn’t put me in remission. I’m on to Car-t for my DLBCL!🙏

They wanted to do Rice with me, but after going to Houston (Md Anderson) for a 2nd opinion, they suggested only the Rituxan as my treatment, which my oncologist did for me here at home... been in "remission " ever since (4 years) with no maintenance therapy...

It’s an “auto” stem cell. Use my own.

I think the time in the hospital, for stem cell transplant, depends on if your stem cells are being harvested or if a donor is involved. I know the donor transplant is a lot longer but mine was my own stem cells.
