have a question. I have been clear for 4 years, but in the last 6 months I have been having bone pain. My oncologist ran panels of bloodwork. The normal panels like CBC, etc, Rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, inflammation, all came back clear, which is great, but im still in pain daily. Has anyone experienced anything like this with lymphoma? Am I experiencing a recurrence, or is this all together something unrelated?

Members rallied around someone experiencing unexplained bone pain four years after achieving remission, with many sharing that they too have experienced similar pain despite clear scans and bloodwork, often leaving them feeling dismissed or anxious about recurrence. Several members offered practical suggestions based on their own experiences, including getting a bone scan, checking vitamin D, magnesium, and potassium levels, considering neuropathy as a possible cause, and discussing long-term treatment side effects like osteoporosis with their oncologist. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of living with unexplained pain and the fear it triggers, paired with the relief of knowing others understand and the importance of advocating persistently for answers and proper testing.

I went to my nephrologist Monday, and both my magnesium and potassium were both low, so he increased my intake... but I do have an appt with my oncologist tomorrow as well...I will ask bvb about the Vit D as well..

I'm having an MRI after the New Year. This will show any cancer cells in my bones from head to foot. I also have anxiety about the pain in my back from surgery last Feb.
This exam will hopefully answer my questions.
Good luck
