I had treatment with Rituxan and bendamustine followed by Rituxan maintenance. This was well tolerated and gave me five years remission. Now the indolent lymphoma (NMZL) is back. My Dr says I can’t do that treatment again. Just wondering if anyone had more than one set of treatments with bendamustine. If not, what was the treatment after a relapse? I am finding little information about relapsed NMZL. Thanks
I came out of remission with mantle cell lymphoma. They have me on Calquence and Vent? Something. Both oral chemo. So it’s doing ok
I did the Imbruvia, it worked well for me. Then after I think 8 months I told the doc I had bad short of breath. Ended up it damaged my lungs. So this last time both Calquence and Venclexa were given to me. Same issues, now my lungs work 40 %.
I have relapse MCL, and I will be getting both of those drugs the beginning of May. The Rituxan and I don’t get along, so I have to be admitted for them to give it to me. But this is my last dose of this. They say I’m at the end of treatments. Luckily I have an appt at Cleveland Clinic on Monday to see if I qualify for CAR T.
I found this: In 2017, the US Food and Drug Administration approved ibrutinib, for the treatment of relapsed/refractory MZL based on pivotal open-label Phase II trial demonstrated an overall response rate of 48%, with a complete response rate of 3%, median progression-free survival of 14.2 months, and median overall survival not yet reached at a median follow-up of 19.4 months.

Not sure of it's relevance to you, I'm new to all this.
My husband finished 6 months of R-CHOP 15 months ago. He also had pneumonia during the treatments and after 5 months, they had to wash his lung out. He lost approximately 40% of his lung function due to scarring from the pneumonia. His fatigue is still a problem and I think part of it is from the lung damage.
