My Spouse Is In The Early Diagnostic Stage (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Biopsy) With Major Rotator Cuff Surgery Planned. Is Surgery Safe?
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Enlarged lymph nodes showed up & the orthopedic surgeon sent my spouse to the primary for follow-up. Major rotator cuff/reconstruction surgery with muscle/tendon grafts is scheduled in 3 weeks. Spouse is worried that the pending diagnosis will mean no surgery. Does a lymphoma diagnosis mean that surgeries like this are not done?

TJW,
I think it would be up to your Oncologist. Kelly
