I think the difference between CLL and SLL is where it starts at!! CLL starts in the Bone Marrow and SLL starts in your lymphocytes!! I believe that is what the Dr told me. Both are slow growing!! Treatment for me is not always a pleasure. Every time I up my dosage I feel sick for 3-5 days then it is not as bad. I started on 20 mg of Venclexta for 1 week then 50 mg 1 week then 100 mg now I am at 200 mg next is 400mg in 2 days. Than 1 infusion of Of Obinutuzumab for 6 times. They give you the first infusion 10 mg the first day 90 the next day to keep you from getting a reaction to it. I have had 2 more infusions already and only have 3 more 100mg infusions to go!! 1 a month for a total of 6. Then just 400mg pills until they take a scan and see how I did. I think about 6 months from now!! I will keep you posted and give you my opinion about it as needed. Text me anytime and I will let you know anything I learned on the way!!!! Let me know if they did gene testing for you!!! We are in this together. We got this and other people are helping us along the way!!!

The cancer foundations will help you! Your doctor should have the information you need to get the help. The Pan foundation and the American Cancer Foundation helped me!! They were fantastic!!

Hi Russ,
I am on a "wait and see" also. Because the condition is chronic it would have to be caught in an active stage. Relax and enjoy life, spring is on its way! Keep in touch. I go for check up in April.
