What Is Something You Do To Prepare For A Treatment Or Oncology Appointment?

MaisyMHT,
Hi! When I go to an Oncology appointment I bring a list of questions. I know if I don't write them down I'll forget them when I get in front of the Dr. I also take my husband, he's another ear to listen. In regards to preparing for treatment, I always wore comfortable clothes and something that opened in the front so they could access my port. They had warm blankets, pillows, a tv and water and snacks at my treatment center. I would bring your charger cord for your phone if you're going to be on it for awhile. My treatment took between six to eight hours. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask. Kelly
