I had lymphoma last year, now in remission, two months later, got extreme Covid, and
Double pneumonia. Six weeks in hospital, two weeks in rehab..refused a breathing tube.
I had a few days to live. well, I’m here, I made it,, experimental drug, what did I have to lose…
Two days later I was feeling better, my breathing was better, I even went home without oxygen.
How? Why? Why me? I’m a firm believer in prayer and God. The odd thing was I did not have any fear,
And it was not me, it was HIM…He brought me through. My doc said this just does not happen…oh but
It did… after effects? Some, but do-able, better than the alternative. trust in the Lord with all your heart
, don’t try to lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge HIM and He will direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:5,6 I am overwhelmed each day that I take yet another breath and thank God for it, I don’t
Know what will happen in the future but I will dwell on living to the fullest that I can and let Gods will
Be done, I’m just not smart like Him, I don’t fully understand it all, but I trust Him completely…Hisown Son
died on a cross for me and took the blame for my sins. I am grateful beyond my simple words!

WOW!!!! I READ AND MOST DEFINATELY UNDERSTAND WHERE EACH OF YOU ARE COMING FROM!!!! BEING HONEST WITH YOURSELF AND ACCEPTING WHAT MAY OR MIGHT BECOME OF YOUR CANCER HELPS YOU THROUGH YOUR JOURNEY!!! WOW!!!

What helps me is believing in GOD and being humble, grateful, and thankful for my LIFE!!!! First of all, I AM SO THANKFUL THAT GOD WAKES ME UP EVERY DAY SINCE BEING DIAGNOSED WITH FOLLICULAR NON HODGEKINS LYMPHOMA STAGE 4 IN 2019! I never heard of lymphoma. When I realized that lymphoma is CANCER it scared me, but then I remembered I SERVE A GOD WHO IS A HEALER!!! THATS WHAT HELPED ME!!! I knew if I kept thinking about my cancer, I would be a nervous wreck by now. Since 2019 I heard that its curable and treatable. Now, I am hearing its not curable but its treatable. I go to all my treatments with a smile on my face. The bottom line is GOD IS IN CONTROL AND THATS WHERE I LEAVE IT. I CAST ALL MY CARES ON HIM. I am happy and I do things to make me better and I feel good about myself from a WHEELCHAIR!!! I . I am going to learn as much as I can about this cancer and take it day by day and thats it. This lymphoma has changed my LIFE! It brought me closer to GOD.

Thanks for letting me share and have a bless and wonderful day!😀

I am learning that my friends and family don't need me to do everything perfectly. They love me even if I don't make that incredible meal, 4 dozen cookies and 4 loaves of bread. I am learning the most loving thing I can do for them and myself is to rest when I need to. So what if a few dirty dishes are left in the sink for an extra hour. At first I pushed myself and refused to take naps. And I got sick. Now I love my naps and reading books and taking walks.

My mentor used to say that you need to take 20 minute naps every now and then during the day. You don’t need to sleep but just rest and get refreshed.

to listen to my body, no matter how frustrating. When I need a nap. I need a nap!
