Hello Neighbors, I Hope You Don't Mind That I Added You. I Tried To Find People That Might Share Some Similarities.
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Right now we are looking at biopsy. She has enlarged lumps on both sides of the neck, severe fatigue, and a persistent dry cough over ten days. The dr has prescribed antibiotics for now.

We knew that she had abnormal cells in a pap smear several years ago, but we did not pay enough attention to it.

I am just hoping to talk to other people going through this, and hope to avoid any potential mistakes.

I found a lump on my neck and the did a biopsy by removing most of if and found small B cell lymphoma and I’ve had every type of scan you can name , I asked and he said it was stage 4 also , this started about a year ago , I’m taking ibrutinib a targeted therapy, i have become very weak , can hardly get around, I’ve developed A-Fib and have to take a blood thinner , I bleed at the drop of a hat ( and I probably dropped it) I guess a lot of this could be caused by my age I’ll turn 80 in 14 days , my wife has Parkinson’s dementia and I’m her caregiver if you can believe that ( poor girl, well I do what I can , I hope you feel better - Steve

I had very enlarged lymph nodes in my neck in July 2022. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 lymphoma. It had gotten into my spine and other organs. Please do not wait. Seek help and treatment now before it advances any further. I have had very good results from my chemo treatments but it was aggressive and advanced. Do not hesitate to seek treatment.

Kevin2,
Hi and welcome to the site. Everyone on here is so kind, helpful and supportive. I have/had DLBCL and had treatments of RCHOP chemo. I've been in remission for about 22 months now. I hope her biopsy comes out well. And, that you both have a peaceful and blessed day today. Kelly
