I saw an ad and called the number. She said you have to swear under oath that you were exposed to Roundup.

I checked into it since my late husband lived using the poison and I was into making a weed control with water and vinegar… Found out the first requirement is that you have to have been the one doing the spraying. Good luck if you do try.

Doris,

How do you prove that? I was thinking about my ex spraying the base of our chain link backyard fence - pretty sure it was Roundup. I also know that some of the lawn guys over many years probably used it for the same reason.

This is one of those class action lawsuits? Not really sure who benefits in the end other than the lawyers. Maybe I don't understand how those types of lawsuits work. My impression is that the primary victims and the legal team can benefit financially from a win... but the rest of the people signed on are used for the raw numbers and to exert pressure but typically don't really see much benefit (other than the satisfaction of their day in court). Is this wrong?

Great Question!

No, I have not responded in any way. I hate the deluge of calls / aggressive contacts that come with those inquiries (flashbacks to searching for health insurance). I have had so many emails and calls. (Keep thinking this will motivate me to clean out the garage to see if there is an old container of roundup?)

I am certain that several have sold my name because of my NHFL dx and internet activity. Huge uptick in contacts related to end-of-life options - cremation and funeral type things over the past year or so... It was distressing at first but now I can laugh about it.

I would love if you could share how you were contacted? What made you decide to sign on? I feel like so much private / personal information is already out there because of my TMI personality. Also have an innate distrust of lawyers due to helping some of my loved ones thru several divorces and end of life planning.

Imagine that many here have been contacted. I hope they all comment and share their thoughts/experiences.
