Joint And Bone Pain
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Since I just recently was diagnosed with CLL I am not yet on any form of treatment. I am beginning to have joint and bone pain. I thought it to be from arthritis or the fosomax which I just started taking but after reading some symptoms of the lymphoma, it may be from the CLL. What is a safe med to take for pain? At this point I’m just so confused and becoming more frightened. I will ask the oncologist at my next appointment.

I have found that Thc gummies seem to help. When I can't stand the pain, one gummy just before bed helps push the pain down and lets me sleep. Please check with your doctor to make sure he is OK with this.

Typically Ibuprofen and aspirin is a no no, because of the possibility of increased bleeding.Remembering Lymphoma is blood disease. My oncologist okayed Tylenol for pain.Keep in mind you should always talked to your Dr or Np first.

I have found that when the pain gets to be too much, Taking a THC Gummy really helps. I was told by a nurse that was with me when they removed the lump from my armpit, that she is giving me a prescription for that. When I asked her about taking the gummies, she said that is even better and to not fill the prescription. After talking to several cancer survivors, this seems to be the common for relief.
Hope I don't Insult anyone with this information, but it really helps when the pain is too much.

I've had so much joint and bone pain since my first lymphoma. Have you had your vitamin D checked. I am no longer allowed to take my DMARD medication with this new cancer so I'm taking tumeric, Tylenol (allergic to NSAIDS), thiamine, mushroom pills and staying away from gluten and sugar. Still have bone and joint pain but not quite as bad. I also move and do stuff almost all day and that helps me too. I notice it more when I sit down. 🤣
