Dorus, wow! I thought this was a support group? I found your response to be nothing short of rude. How do you know anything about this lady? And in fact, MY CANCER IS FOREVER so maybe try to learn something before you spout off. I didn't see her ask anyone to give up their life or nurse them! She simply wants her daughter to understand that cancer is a life changing event and for her not to be ignored. You need to think before you speak and realize that her journey is not yours. I cannot believe anyone could be as disrespectful as you have been to this lady. Omg, you need to get off this site. I am reporting you! Nobody deserves or needs to hear that kind of garbage. You don't know her story, you don't have the right to assume anything, and you can't tell anyone how to think or feel in their own journey. I am appalled and disgusted by your complete lack of kindness and empathy. We need to help eachother and lift eachother up during these difficult times, not hate and judge. I hope you have the day you deserve.

I’m so sorry to read this. I know from experience how you feel , but most other people are so preoccupied with the issues in their lives they just find it too much to offer us the empathy and sympathy we crave.. You and I don’t know what’s going on in their inner lives. All we can do is be kind to them and hope they are able to do the same for us.

Same here, I feel I’m eating more healthy by eating at home. Every day God willing I do my walking and strength training

I am so glad I came across this. I JUST had this conversation with my 3 girls, some nurse friends and my soon to be ex. Apparently if you get dressed and put on a little make up and you"dont look sick." You must NOT be. If I am having a rough fatigue day, and don't LOOK sick I am expected to function as "Normal."
Beyond frustrating. Also very hurtful. I am so sorry you are going through this. Sending many positive vibes and support!

Sugar I can relate, sorry I just want to run away. I can’t take the stress, I have a very toxic 42 yo daughter and I had to delete her from my life. I wish you all the luck and if you ever need to talk I’m here. God bless and be safe.
