Has Anyone Had A Nodule Show Up In Chest With Routine Pet Scan?
A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had DLBCL and have been Cancer Free for 2 years! Pet Scan Showed 5mm nodule in medial right anterior subcutaneous. Also Slight uptake in the palatine tonsils. Just wondering if anyone has had this and what if any testing was done.

Hi Kat1120,
I was diagnosed in July with DLBCL after a tonsil swelled up really big. Had the tonsillectomy and the DLBCL was in both tonsils and 2 lymph nodes in my neck. Pet Scan. Also picked up a 9mm nodule in in my right lower lobe. Three cycles of RCHOP and then repeat Pet Scan showed all Lymphoma was gone but the nodule was still there. The pulmonologist thought it looked very suspicious so we did a lung biopsy. Came back as atypical cells so I will see him again in 6mo this for repeat CT Scan. I’m currently undoing 17 radiation treatments to neck, only 3 left.🙌
Then repeat Pet Scan in February. Hang in there,
God’s got you! 🙏❤️

Kat1120,
Hi my friend!! I had an experience about a year ago when they saw a shadow on my MRI. Then I had a PET scan.. It ended up being nothing. I hope yours ends up being nothing too. How's your blood work? Are you having any symptoms? Think of you often and I'm sending you a hug!!❤Kelly
