Finished six rounds of R-CHOP last May and straight into radical radiotherapy for fifteen sessions. PET scan after six weeks showed ‘residual’ activity but after a second PET scan six weeks later all signs of cancer had gone. PTL. Immediately started on eight weekly Rituximab injections and apart from fatigue no other symptoms. Currently on fifth treatment and scheduled for a total of two years so possibly another seven or eight to go. Treated ‘royally’ by our often discredited National Health Service. I’m seventy nine and delighted to have these extra years with my friends and family. As a Christian I believe I have been miraculously healed as my initial diagnosis was pancreatic cancer as one tumour completely obscured the pancreas on the first scan. Trust Him and in your medical team.

I have finished six rounds of chemotherapy and in my latest scan I didn't have any tumors. That was on the R-chop therapy. One doctor wants me to undergo radiation to prevent recurrence and I am waiting to hear from the other one for his opinion because I know he has other views. For him, blood cancers aren't resolved through radiation, but through immunotherapy. The thing about double Hit Lymphoma is there just isn't any conclusive research. The one definite thing is, chemotherapy sure makes you tired.

How are you doing Jody? My husband finished his 3rd round of chemo & had a PET scan a week later. We got the results yesterday & the cancer is gone. They still want him to do the other 3 rounds of chemo though. We are so thankful.

Yes I lost a lot of weight before I knew I had lymphoma and I kept getting infections. Good that he's doing better. I live in Toronto, in Canada.
