Glad to hear she is in remission and that she is happy when she is up. You are a wonderful caregiver and embrace it well.

As for me I am lost at times. I am anemic and my doctor is suggesting a blood transfusion as I want to go see my 34 year old Grandson who recently had a blood infection and it damaged the valves in his heart. He had 3 valves replaced and 1 repaired. They live in North Dakota and we live in North Carolina so it is a long flight or a long drive. Since my hemoglobin in down to 8 the doctor says I may get light headed or short of breath and require oxygen. Always something. Never had a transfusion so this will be a new venture. Otherwise I am doing well thank you.

Lynne, take care of yourself. Praying for you and your mom. You are a good daughter and I know your mom appreciates all you have done for your dad and for her. Keep in touch.

Aww …thank you Joan! My mom and I are doing well. It’s been a rollercoaster ride . I did end of life care for my father ; who leaped up to heaven on 5/31/2021 under hospice in my home ..pancreatic cancer . In July ; 2021 they direct admitted my sweet mom to hospital and gave her a week to live!

I retired from 33 year teaching career …and have my mom here . She finished treatment in November . We go back to hematologist in June . Her cancer ; currently in remission . She just sleeps a lot …but is happy when up.

Am grateful to Hematologist.
How are you feeling ?

I am 82 years old and have CLL since 2009. Thankfully I have not had any treatments yet, it is called wait and see. How is your mom doing? And you? While I have not had any treatments of RCop I am here if you need to talk and let out some steam. It's hard enough taking care of an elderly parent let alone someone with NHL. I took care of my mom until she passed away at 93 so just give a yell out anytime you need. Bless you for being there. Joan7
